My Collection by Jasper Morrison
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung «Jasper Morrison – Thingness», gibt es eine von Jasper Morrison kuratierte Formatreihe unter dem Titel «My Collection», in der er seine persönlichen Lieblingsobjekte aus der Designsammlung des Museums für Gestaltung zusammengestellt hat.
Grosse Freude und Ehre: Unter anderem hat er sich für das Migros «M» entschieden (No. 24). Er begründet seine Wahl folgendermassen: "Even to a non-Swiss, occasional visitor this giant M is so full of Swissness that I can almost breathe the air from Tokyo. There’s not much to say about the design of a single letter but wheter it’s a single M or three of them arranged vertically, theres’s no doubt about the succes of this communicaton device!"
